Deer Rescued From Partially Frozen Big Thompson River
ESTES PARK, Colo. (CBS4)- A buck got into some trouble on the Big Thompson River this week but some police officers came to help.
The deer was slipping on the ice on the river's banks and couldn't get out of the freezing water.
Police officers from Estes Park came to the rescue and lassoed the animal around the antlers. They were able to pull the animal to safety.
The buck took a quick breather, shook himself off and wandered back into the woods.
