Colorado: 4 Cases Of E. Coli Linked To Costco Chicken Salad

DENVER (AP) — Colorado health officials say chicken salad sold by Costco has been linked to four cases of E. coli in the state.

The state health department says one person who got sick was hospitalized but all four people have recovered.

Two of the ill were in Jefferson County and the other two were in Arapahoe and Routt counties. They bought the chicken salad on Oct. 25 and 26 and became sick between Oct. 28 and Nov. 3.

The department says anyone who purchased Costco's chicken salad made with rotisserie chicken, item number 37719, in Colorado should throw it away.

Utah, Montana and Washington state also have E. coli cases linked to the chicken salad.
