Security Cams Rolling As Gun-Wielding Thieves Burst Into Home

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are searching for two men believed to be responsible for a terrifying home invasion in southwest Denver.

The home near South Mariposa Street and West Louisiana Avenue had a surveillance system and was able to capture the suspects on camera. Those images ares now being pushed out to the public by Crimestoppers in hopes someone will recognize them.

Investigators say it happened at approximately 11 a.m. on Oct. 21. The two men in the video claimed to be police officers and then robbed the homeowner at gunpoint. They are now wanted on aggravated robbery charges.

Along with those photos, Denver police released a more detailed description of the suspects:

- Suspect 1: White male, 50-64 years old, 5-foot-10 and 250 pounds. He has balding hair and prescription glasses with dark black rims.

- Suspect 2: White male, 30-49 years old, 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds. He was last wearing a dark ski cap and dark jacket.
