Project To Add Additional Lane Of I-25 Over Arapahoe Road
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4)- A major construction project will cause some drivers a lot of headaches over the next year-and-a-half but once it's over, drivers should be happy.
The Colorado Department of Transportation is replacing the bridge on Interstate 25 that goes over Arapahoe Road. Another driving lane will be added in each direction.
CDOT also plans to widen the ramps that lead onto I-25.
The changes are expected to begin next spring and last 20 months. The changes are designed to improve congestion in Centennial and Greenwood Village.
