Jury Acquits 2 Men In Murder Of Lafayette Man
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- It took a jury in Boulder County less than three hours on Wednesday to find two men not guilty of murder in the death of a Lafayette man.
Nathaniel Tallman of Lafayette disappeared in January of 2014 after meeting the suspects for a marijuana deal. The 25-year-old's body was found along a highway in Wyoming two months later.
Moises Mendez, 26, and Daniel Ortiz, 38, were on trial for first-degree murder, robbery and aggravated car theft.
A jury on Wednesday found there was not enough evidence to convict Mendez and Ortiz.
