Firefighters Battle Wildfire In Summit County
SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (AP) — Summit County firefighters are battling a wildfire that has scorched more than 70 acres.
About 50 firefighters responded to the fire burning north of Silverthorne on Friday night, and more were sent in on Saturday.
So far, no injuries or damage to structures have been reported.
The fire is on national forest land and is being called the Cemetery Ridge fire.
