Bank Robbery Leads To Shootout With Police
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- A bank robbery led to a shootout with Broomfield police on Friday afternoon.
Police say the person driving a white pickup was wanted in a robbery of a TCF Bank. Officers say they tracked him down at 144th and Aspen Way.
As soon as the driver stopped he and the officer exchanged gunfire.
Copter4 flew over the scene where there was blood on the ground along with a gun.
The suspect was shot and taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown. The officer was not hurt.
