Woman Accused Of Aiding Teen Daughter During Fight With Fellow Student
DENVER (CBS4) - A woman accused participating in a fight between her daughter and a fellow student has been formally charged in connection with the incident.
According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney's office, Selina Ramirez, 38, has been charged with third-degree assault and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
"The charges allege that on April 22 Ramirez participated in a fight between her 16-year-old daughter and another teenager across the street from their school, not only encouraging the fight, but also shoving the other girl to the ground," Kimbrough said in a statement.
Ramirez is free on a $5,000 bond. She's scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 11 to be formally advised of the charges.
