Police: Teen Shot, Killed Over Cellphone

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs believe a teenager was shot and killed over a cellphone.

Desmond Smith was shot twice in Memorial Park in Colorado Springs about 2 a.m. Saturday, well after the park's 11 p.m. closing time and the city's midnight curfew for teens on weekends.

Police believe two men, ages 31 and 18, fired at Smith and his two friend because his nephew believed one of them had stolen his cellphone.

Riccardo Kirven, 31, and his nephew Raymond Rogan Junior, 18, were arrested on first-degree murder charges.
