Police Search For Assault Suspects In S. Broadway Attack

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver need the public's help finding two suspects wanted in a violent attack on South Broadway that left the victim severely injured.

Police said about 2 a.m. on July 4 the suspects got into a verbal altercation with a stranger and assaulted him in the 1500 block of S. Broadway, near the 7-Eleven on S. Broadway and Iowa Avenue.

The suspects took off in a white sedan driven,possibly a Chrysler, by an unknown female.

"The two suspects who are pictured fled the scene in a white sedan driven by an unknown female," said Denver Police spokesman Doug Schepman.

The victim suffered serious injuries from the assault.

There is very little information about the suspects. The first was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt with a black collar, distressed blue jeans and white sneakers. He has a goatee.

The second suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and denim shorts, a red hat with a large "N" on the front. He also has a full sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

There is no description of the female driver.
