Baldwin's wife Crystal thanked all those who have shown love and support to her family since his death. She also talked about what she says is one of the hardest parts of grieving and how the new sign now helps.

"When you lose someone that you love one of your greatest fears is that they will be forgotten. You know that they will always live on in your heart but you worry that other people will forget them," she said. "These signs being erected here today help in bringing us just a little bit more peace and know that Dave will never be forgotten because they will be here long after we're gone, long after we stop speaking his name. So thank you for doing this."
