Search On For Mesa County Woman And Young Child
PALISADE, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies in Mesa County are searching for a woman and her 1 1/2-year-old child who have gone missing.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, Shannon Kunkel's parents woke up and found a note from her stating she was going into town. She left with her son and they haven't been seen since Saturday morning.
Kunkel was last seen on G 3/8 Road in Palisade driving a dark blue 1992 Toyota Camry with Colorado plates 180-GMQ.
Kunkel, 34, is described as a white woman, 5-foot-4, 200 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, blue jean shorts and flip flops.
Kunkel's son Luke is described as a white boy, 2 feet tall and 28 pounds. He has green eyes and blonde hair.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
