Investigators: Man With Parkinson's Unfit To Drive
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Investigators in Fort Collins said that a man with Parkinson's disease was unfit to drive when he caused a deadly car crash.
Police claim Alton Massey, 58, drifted into oncoming traffic and slammed his truck into a sedan in January.
The other driver, Stephen Towne, 55, died hours later from his injuries. Towne was the Chief Financial Officer for the Thompson School District. A 14-year-old passenger in his vehicle was not injured.
Massey has been charged with vehicular homicide.
