CDOT Tries To Combat Distracted Driving
DENVER (CBS4)- The Colorado State Patrol is launching a new campaign to combat distracted driving.
Billboards are popping up around Colorado informing drivers to "Get Your Heads Out of Your Apps."
The year-long campaign is designed to keep drivers focused on the roads. It was funded by a grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation.
State troopers will focus on texting and other distractions. No one under the age of 18 can use a phone while driving. Texting and driving is against the law.
