High Speed Chase Comes To An End Near DIA
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A man and a woman suspected in a carjacking were arrested on Thursday morning near Denver International Airport after a high speed chase.
Police in Aurora said the alleged carjacking took place in Glendale and that their officers spotted the suspects' car sometime later on Interstate 225. After that the suspects sped away, reaching speeds up to 100 mph.
Officers followed the suspects on Interstate 225 to E-470, and eventually caught up with them near 64th and E-470.
Officers did a pit maneuver and the car went off the side of the road into a field.
It's not known so far if anyone was hurt in the alleged carjacking or the chase.
The names of the suspects have not been released.
