Shooting On Pontiac Street Leaves 1 Dead
DENVER (CBS4) - One person was killed in a shooting on Sunday night near Pontiac Street and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
Police said it happened at about 9:30 p.m. The victim, identified as Jeffrey Turner Starkes, was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead around 11 p.m.
The shooting happened outside a home on the 3200 block of Pontiac Street. It is unknown if this shooting is connected with other weekend shooting incidents.
Police do not have any information about a suspect and have not released the identity of the victim.
