Building Owner In Niwot Wants To Operate Marijuana Grow Facility

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - Niwot is considering converting a vacant building into a marijuana grow facility.

The Niwot Business Association is scheduled to hear a presentation from the owner of the building Tuesday evening.

The building is the former Elysian Fields Estate Auctions building on North 79th Street.

Some residents are against the idea, saying they do not want the smell in their neighborhood. They are expected to voice their concerns at the meeting and a follow-up meeting is likely.
