House Fire On Fox Street Sends Woman To Hospital
DENVER (CBS4) - Firefighters responded to a house fire in Denver around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A fire broke out at an elderly woman's home on the 2000 block of South Fox Street, near West Evans Avenue.
When firefighters arrived they saw flames shooting from the basement of the home, with heavy smoke in the area. The woman was standing outside her home when they arrived.
Firefighters said it didn't take long to put out the flames. They are still searching for a cause, but there were no pets and no one else was inside the home.
