Boulder Residents Avoid Fines For Not Clearing Public Sidewalks

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder authorities are temporarily waiving fines for residents who failed to clear their public sidewalks this week.

Boulder residents are getting a break because of what they call extreme weather conditions.

Authorities don't want people getting hurt trying to remove thick ice and snow.

Residents typically get 24 hours to remove snow after the storm is over.

Denver residents did not get a break from shoveling.
