Boulder Police Search For Attempted Home Intruder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder are searching for a man who tried to break into the bathroom while a woman was showering.

Police rushed to the 800 block of 19th Street after a woman reported that a man tried to get into her home through a bathroom window while she was in the shower.

A roommate told police she saw someone walking outside her room as well. A male resident confronted the suspect outside and the suspect left the area.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 6-foot, with a slim build, blonde dreadlock hair and scruffy blonde facial hair. At the time he was wearing a grey sweatshirt and very colorful "hippie pants."

Police are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything in the area on the date and time above to please contact Detective Sharon Ramos at 303-441-3323.
