Father-Son Team Charged With Robbing Durango Dispensary
DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4) - Police arrested an alleged father-son robbery team in Durango this weekend.
According to the Durango Herald, Joe Riley Griffith, 44, walked into the Rocky Mountain High dispensary pretending to be a customer.
Then his 19-year-old son, Logan Griffith, allegedly came in with a handgun to rob the marijuana dispensary. The son tied up the employees and customer, who was really his father.
He allegedly stole thousands of dollars in addition to marijuana, and fled on foot.
The teen was arrested an hour later on Saturday night, and his father was captured Monday morning.
