Another Juvenile Suspect Arrested In Englewood Sex Assault Case

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Police have arrested another teenager accused of attacking a girl during a party in Englewood.

Tuesday's arrest is the sixth in a sex assault case that's rocked the Englewood High School community. Details are limited in the latest arrest because the suspect is a juvenile.

Most of those involved in the case are students of Englewood High School. Englewood investigators revealed last Friday that Daylon Benjamin Hill, 19, and four other teen boys were in custody for the incident.

According to Hill's arrest affidavit, the victim told officers she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by six teenagers at a party fueled by alcohol and marijuana last Sunday night. Court documents reveal the girl consented to sex with one of the teens at the party, but that others joined in several times, despite her pleas to stop.

Hill currently is the only adult in the case. He made his first court appearance Tuesday morning and is facing numerous felony charges, including sex assault and sexual exploitation.

Authorities are not ruling out the possibility of more arrests.

Prosecutors say it has not been determined if the other suspects, who are all 15 or 16 years old, will also be charged as adults and the investigation is ongoing.

Hill is expected to appear before a judge again in late March. He's currently being held at the Arapahoe County Jail.
