Police Search For Officer's Stolen Rifle
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Arvada are searching for the suspect who stole an officer's rifle.
The weapon was stolen from the Arvada Police officer's home in the 1300 block of Foxtail Drive in Broomfield.
The suspect broke into the officer's home and stole his department-issued Colt AR-15 .223-caliber rifle last Sunday or Monday.
Police said ammo magazines were also stolen.
The weapon was secured inside the home and the doors were locked. The other details are under investigation including the mode of entry.
