Pueblo Police Say Man Shot During Reported Home Invasion

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP/CBS4) – Pueblo police are investigating a reported home invasion that resulted in a shooting early Saturday.

Authorities say the homeowner in the 1700 block of East 3rd used a gun to defend himself. A short time later, a man was found injured in the street.

Police say the man was shot in the right leg and is in stable condition. The names of the people involved have not been released.

Police issued a statement saying arrests are pending.

The suspect is reportedly in stable condition.
