Pilot Survives Helicopter Crash In Weld County
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — A 25-year-old pilot walked away with minor injuries after her helicopter crashed near a medical center on Monday.
The helicopter took off in Erie and flew to Greeley. It was close to Platte Valley Medical Center when there was engine trouble and the helicopter went down.
During the crash, the tail separated from the body of the aircraft. The pilot suffered minor injuries to her wrist.
