Protesters Deface State Capitol With Graffiti
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver arrested several protesters after they were caught defacing the state Capitol Wednesday night.
The protesters were marching through downtown Wednesday evening when they stopped at the state Capitol at 14th and Lincoln.
Once there, they spray painted graffiti on the building, staircase and windows.
Police arrested 10 people, one for felony assault to a police officer. The other charges include destruction of property.
Police did not confirm which group was responsible for the graffiti but some of the graffiti symbolism indicated a Guy Fawkes Day reference to Nov. 5.
