Denver Experiments With 'Reverse Angle Parking' On 7th Avenue

DENVER (CBS4) - There is a new way to park along a busy Denver road.

Denver Public Works calls it "reverse angle parking." The idea is to have people reverse and park in the spaces along 7th Avenue between Logan and Pennsylvania streets.

The program not only creates new spaces, but supporters say it's easier to see approaching traffic as drivers exit. It also is safer for children to get out of a car near sidewalks and not the street.
