Kidnapping, Attempted Sex Assault Suspect Skips Out On Trial

DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police would like the public's help locating a man who failed to show up to his trial.

According to the Denver District Attorney's Office, Clifton Ray Williams, 40, is accused of kidnapping, attempted sexual assault and third-degree assault. His trial began last week and on Tuesday he failed to return to the courtroom after the lunch break.

Williams is accused of kidnapping and attacking a woman in 2011. He was out of custody on a $60,000 bond.

Williams is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds.
