Man Charged In Pueblo Teen's Death In Court
BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) — A man accused in the disappearance of a Pueblo teen is scheduled to be in court in Brighton on Friday for a hearing to determine whether he'll stand trial.
Twenty-three-year-old Christopher Waide is charged with first-degree murder and sexual assault in the disappearance of 19-year-old Lea Chali Porter.
Porter was last seen while visiting Westminster, where Waide lives, in June. Her body hasn't been found, but police have said Waide is cooperating in the search.
Investigators have said Waide and Porter attended the same high school in Fremont County and had reconnected on Facebook before she went missing.
