Boulder Detective Charged With Interfering In Case Quits
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A Boulder police detective accused of interfering with a child-luring investigation has resigned from the department.
Detective Jack Gardner stepped down Wednesday, the same day he was charged with being an accessory to a crime.
He's accused of sending the suspect in the case, Kahlil Peckham, an email from his work computer in June that warned him not to meet what he thought was a 13-year-old girl and who was actually a police officer looking to arrest him.
