1 Apparently Under Arrest After Hit & Run Snags Morning Commute
DENVER (CBS4) - Images from Copter4 appeared to show that Denver police have one person in custody after a hit and run involving two cars Wednesday morning at Colorado Boulevard and East Iowa Avenue.
That suspect was seen wearing a black shirt and getting into a police car at 4151 East Iowa, a block away from where the accident happened. Denver officers surrounded a red Jeep at that location.
That was the same description of the Jeep that was reportedly involved in a crash at approximately 4 a.m. where one person was taken to the hospital with what police described as serious injuries.
Authorities closed all lanes of northbound Colorado Boulevard for several hours as they investigated the crime.
