Buffs QB Sefo Liufau Very Impressed With Freshman WR Bryce Bobo

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The University of Colorado Buffaloes haven't had much they could count on in recent years, but they knew when Paul Richardson was healthy they had one of the best receivers in college football.

Richardson has moved onto the NFL and is now a Seattle Seahawk. He's a terrific receiver and no doubt the Buffs will miss him. But they think they may have a young receiver who, in time, may be able to fill his shoes.

Quarterback Sefo Liufau is very impressed with freshman Bryce Bobo.

"I think that Paul is a different kind of receiver than anybody we have now, but Bobo is a really good player and more and more we like that matchup," Liufau said. "We can take Bobo on go-routes or whatever route we want. I trust Bobo with the ball."

"I have other receivers on this receiver corps that can also make big plays as much as I can, so it's not too much of a load as much as we're all just equally distributing plays on the field," Bobo said.

The Buffs and Colorado State University Rams clash in the Rocky Mountain Showdown on Aug. 29 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
