Woman Who Confessed To Murder Released To Halfway House
DENVER (CBS4) – A woman who confessed to killing her lover’s wife has been released from prison and has been placed in a halfway house.
According to The Gazette, Jennifer Reali has been released to a halfway house in Lakewood.
Reali was convicted of murdering Diane Hood in 1991 and sentenced to life in prison.
She said Brian Hood convinced her to murder his wife, saying it was the only way they could be together.
Then Governor Bill Ritter commuted the life sentence in 2011. She has been released from prison because of her behavior and the amount of time served.
Hood’s husband was convicted of second-degree murder and was sentenced to 37 years in prison.
