Parole Request Denied For Kelsey Grammer's Sister's Killer

DENVER (CBS4)- The parole request has been denied for the man convicted of killing the sister of actor Kelsey Grammer.

Although Grammer told the parole board that he forgave the inmate who murdered his sister 39 years ago, he did not want him released from prison.

Freddie Glenn is serving a life sentence for the murder of Karen Elisa Grammer. She was just 18 years old when she was abducted outside a Colorado Springs restaurant in 1975. Glenn, 57, was convicted in her rape and murder.

By video this week, Grammer told the parole board that he accepted Glenn's apology but also said endorsing his release would be a betrayal of his sister's life.
