Nail-Ridden Boards Found On 2 Western Slope Mountain Biking Trails

CARBONDALE, Colo. (CBS4) – A warning is out for mountain bikers on Colorado’s Western Slope after boards pierced with nails were found on two popular trails near Carbondale.

The boards were found on the Creekside Trail and the Skillsaw Trail in the Prince Creek area.

A cyclist who took a photo of one of the boards said at first he thought the board was a lost piece of lumber from a project, but after finding the second board he knew they were meant to damage bicycles or injure riders.
