Panhandling Rules Move Forward In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- The plan to create new panhandling rules in Boulder moves forward.

The Boulder City Council gave initial approval to a proposal aimed at blocking verbal requests for money.

The rule would be enforced within 20 feet of areas like ATMs, outdoor restaurants, bus stops and gas pumps.

A second vote on the issue is planned for early next month.
