8-Year-Old Raises Money For Mudslide Victims

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – An 8-year-old in Lakewood saw the Washington mudslide on the news and decided she wanted to help.

On Saturday Eva made some signs and set up shop with her friend Anna to raise money for victims and their families.

“We have all the money in the box so we are going to count all the money and then send it to the Red Cross community,” said 8-year-old Eva Clark.

Eva said her next fundraising effort will be to raise money for those suffering in Syria.
