New Denver Restaurant Makes Sandwiches Out Of Waffles
DENVER (CBS4) – Instead of bread, a new Denver restaurant makes sandwiches using waffles.
The company, "Bruxie," has a number of restaurants in California and thought the Denver area would be a great place to start its out-of-state expansion.
"From a culinary perspective I know Denver is a very food-centric city. A lot of chefs have come out here and done very well. There are a lot of concepts that were born in Colorado, so it's a very aggressive, progressive culinary atmosphere," said Bruxie CEO Dean Simon.
Bruxie opened for business on Tuesday in Glendale on Colorado Boulevard just north of Mississippi Avenue.
