DENVER (CBS4) – The Colorado governor’s mansion is the first in the nation to be equipped with beer taps.
Governor John Hickenlooper invited brewers from across the state to the unveiling on Friday.
The new taps help usher in Colorado Craft Beer Week happening right now.
“It’s only appropriate that Colorado has our governor’s mansion be the first mansion to have draft beer because if you look at some of these statistics, we are by any measure at the forefront of the craft brewing industry,” said Hickenlooper.
Hickenlooper started Wynkoop Brewery before entering the world of politics.
Colorado Craft Beer Week runs until March 29.
