RTD Bus Driver Cited After Striking Pedestrian

DENVER (CBS4) - Police have cited the driver of an RTD bus after the bus struck a pedestrian Friday morning.

The bus driver will be cited for two different traffic infractions, according to Denver police.

The crash happened before 7 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Sheridan Boulevard near Alameda.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Their identity has not been released, and it's not clear what their condition is.
