Man Accused Of Internet Luring Of A Child In Arapahoe County

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – Authorities in Arapahoe County have arrested a man accused of Internet luring of a child.

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit communicated with a man they identified as Anthony Christopher Garcia, 46, during an Internet sting with an officer posing as a 14-year-old girl.

"During ongoing communication, the individual described explicit sexual conduct and detailed how he wanted to engage in sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

According to the sheriff's office, Garcia arranged to meet the juvenile on Tuesday. When he arrived at the agreed location he was taken into custody.

Garcia faces charges of Internet luring of a child and Internet sexual exploitation of a child, which are both felonies. He remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.
