Denver Has First Cultural Plan In 25 Years
DENVER (CBS4) – Denver has its first official cultural plan in a quarter of a century.
The goal of "Imagine 20-20" is making sure the arts are a part of daily life for everyone. That includes making sure people know about local artists.
"Denver is home to some 3,600 creative businesses employing 21,000 people that make our city vibrant and support our economic vitality," said Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
Imagine 20-20 also includes creating more places for artists to live and work and a website to make the arts easily accessible to the public.
