1 Dead After Crash Involving RTD Bus

DENVER (AP/CBS4) - One person has died in a crash involving an RTD bus in Denver.

Denver police say a car collided with the bus at about 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday and a male inside in the vehicle was killed.

Police say the driver of the bus was not hurt and the bus was not carrying any passengers at the time of the crash.

The crash happened at West Mississippi Avenue and South Platte River Drive, just west of Santa Fe Drive.

So far the name of the person who was killed has not been released, and investigators haven't said who might have been at fault in the crash. The bus driver is on standard investigative suspension while Denver police and RTD look into the crash.
