Police Find Murder Weapon In Longmont Stabbing Case

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) – Police may have recovered a knife that was used in a triple stabbing at in Longmont.

Authorities say a woman who lives nearby called police after finding a weapon in her backyard.

The weapon will now be tested to determine if it was used to stab three teens outside a house party on Sunday.

One of the teens died while the other two were taken to a hospital. One of them is in critical condition.

Police say there was marijuana and alcohol at the party.

Authorities arrested Secundido Martinez, 20, for stabbing all three boys. Investigators think he may have tossed the knife while fleeing the scene.
