Some Stranded Amtrak Passengers Enjoyed Their Time On Train

DENVER. (CBS4) - Amtrak passengers stuck in the snow are finally headed to their destinations.

The winter storm buried several Amtrak trains in Illinois. One of them was from Denver.

The passengers had to spend the night on the trains, which were heated and had food.

"The best part of it was having another night on the train and actually getting to meet people and getting to talk to everyone," a stranded passenger said. "In the car that I was in everyone was going up and down the car talking to people, making friends, and just telling jokes, telling stories."

Busses picked everyone up and drove them to Chicago so they could continue their travels.
