COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – A car crash created a huge gas leak and the evacuation of several businesses Monday morning.

The crash occurred on Monaco Street between 48th and 50th avenues. One car hit another car in oncoming traffic on 48th Avenue. One car rolled into a power pole and a gas line, which caused the gas leak.

The gas had to be turned off from Sand Creek to 48th Avenue and Quebec to Ivy. Xcel Energy stopped the leak.
