3 Bodies Found In Burning Home In Town Of Rye

RYE, Colo. (AP) — Three bodies have been found found inside a home that burned in the southern Colorado town of Rye.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Department says the bodies were discovered by firefighters who responded to the fire Wednesday morning.

Authorities say the fire repeatedly flared up Wednesday afternoon, preventing investigators from getting inside.

The cause of the fire and the names of the victims were not immediately released.

KRDO reports two dogs were rescued from the home.

Rye is about 8 miles west of Colorado City in southern Pueblo County.
