Aurora Vet Ceremony Spotlights The Korean War
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - This is the 19th year Aurora has saluted veterans for their service. Wednesday's ceremony specifically spotlighted the Korean War, touching the hearts of those who served.
"So many times you hear it's the forgotten war, so this is always nice every year," Korean War veteran John Kane, Jr. said.
"It feels like you're back with a bunch of good men," Korean War veteran Murdo MacLennon said.
Gov. John Hickenlooper says the ceremony is an important way to remember the men and women in service.
The Korean conflict ended 60 years ago.
