Denver Gorilla Run Sets Guinness World Record

DENVER (CBS4) – There was some major monkey business in downtown Denver on Saturday as the 10th annual Gorilla Run 5k took place.

The event benefits the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund.

The race also featured live music and food. With the registration fee runners got to keep their gorilla suits.

The run also broke a Guinness World Record for most people dressed as gorillas in one location. They had 1,161 people participate.
