DENVER (CBS4) - A Frontier Airlines flight headed from Denver to Austin, Texas had to abort takeoff at Denver International Airport.

Frontier said the plane lost navigation systems while starting its takeoff roll. The plane stopped safely after the pilot slammed on the brakes that caused two flat tires.

CBS4 YouReporter Debbie Fitzgerald was on the flight and sent in pictures of the passengers departing. She said the crew handled the emergency well.

The passengers were shuttled by bus back to the terminal and made it to Austin on other flights.
